British automaker MG will soon launch the facelift model of its popular Hector SUV in the Indian market. The company has released a related teaser inside this SUV. No changes were made to the interior of this car. The biggest change was to the fixed infotainment screen on the dashboard. This 2022 facelift model will receive a touchscreen with a 14-inch screen. In other words, this screen will be as big as a laptop screen. People’s entertainment will increase with this screen. , From the teaser that the company released for the Hector 2022 facelift, it is clear that the cabin of the new Hector has changed compared to the previous one. It has a new infotainment screen. It will have a 14-inch touchscreen, which is the largest in its segment. It also supports MG’s next-generation i-SMART technology, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

, The new Hector gets a 7-inch instrument display for the driver. The two-tone interior can be seen in the cabin. In this, Oak White and Black colors have been used with a brushed metal finish. The upholstery has a leather covering. The car’s front end and grille were also changed. The grille has become sportier now. The LED headlights look smaller and thinner on either side.

This will be the engine of the new Hector
The new facelift SUV is expected to come with a 2.0 liter diesel engine producing 168 hp and a 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine producing 141 hp. MG Motor may also retain the 1.5-liter mild-hybrid unit in the next-generation Hector SUV. The direct competition of this SUV will be from Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. MG Hector was launched in the Indian market in 2019. It was the first car in India to receive lots of inbuilt apps including Gaana, Accuweather.
