Maruti Suzuki XL6 Price in India, Launch Date, Specs, Facelift, Mileage, Interior Full Details

After the launch of renovated Ertiga, Maruti-Suzuki launched the XL6 facelift in India at ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first facelift of the six-seater MPV launched in India in 2019. In its new avatar, the XL6 comes with several mechanical and functional changes. Just like the new Ertiga, even the XL6 features an all-new petrol engine mated to an all-new automatic transmission. Maruti Suzuki has also equipped the new XL6 with a host of modern gadgets as opposed to the previous model. The visual changes, however, are very limited. Maruti Suzuki had started accepting new XL6 reservations in the country last week and we expect the automaker to begin deliveries of Ertiga’s premium sibling.

2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 has the same design as its predecessor but comes with a handful of design changes such as a redesigned grille with chrome surrounds and rear trim with chrome inserts, smoked 3-D taillights, and more. The company also offers the XL6 with a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels, three new color options and a new top-end Alpha Plus variant.

2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 has the same interior layout as the outgoing model but gets a new finish for the dashboard. The highlight, however, has to be the host of new features, including the new seven-inch touchscreen with SmartPlay Pro touchscreen, Suzuki Connect for connected car features such as AC remote start, in-car voice assistant triggered by the “Hi Suzuki” command. , 360 degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system and ventilated front seats. These are in addition to previously available provisions such as cruise control, automatic climate control, air vents for the second and third row seats, push button start/stop, keyless entry, idle stop-start, etc. Maruti Suzuki has also increased the feature list of the new XL6; the six-seat MPV now comes standard with four airbags, ABS, EBD, reversing sensors, electronic stability program, hill hold assist (AT variant only) and speed alert system, while the top-of-the-line variant range also has a reversing camera.

The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes with the 1.5-liter K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology. This powertrain develops 102 hp for 137 Nm and can be offered with a choice between a five-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel. This new engine returns 20.51 km/l in manual gearbox and 20.3 km/l in automatic gearbox.
