The long-awaited Mahindra Scorpio-N 2022 will be officially introduced in the country on June 27, 2022. The company has already released the exterior design via several promotional images and videos. The company will continue to sell the existing model with a new suffix, called Mahindra Scorpio Classic.

Ahead of the launch, key details about the new Mahindra Scorpio-N have been leaked on the internet. Mahindra claims that the new model has been tested for over 80 lakh kilometers. It will come with a part-time 4×4 system. He won’t get the full-time 4X4 system.

The AWD system will be offered exclusively with the diesel version of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N. It comes with 4 high and 4 low gear ratios on its transfer case. These modes can be operated using buttons on either side of a rotary knob featuring the 4Xplore system with terrain selection options.

The new 4Xplore from Mahindra Scorpio-N offers 4 modes – Rough Road, Snow, Mud and Water. To improve off-road capability, Mahindra added a manual-locking rear differential. It was to come with a full-time AWD system, which we’ve seen before on the top-end XUV700 AWD.

New Mahindra Scorpio-N seat configurations

The report claims that the new Scorpio-N will be available in 6 and 7-seater configurations. While the first will have captain’s chairs in the second row, the 7-seater will have bench-type seats. The 7-seat model will also come with a 60:40 third-row split option.
