Boconcept organizes a competition for interior designers in Abuja | The Guardian Nigeria News


An interior design brand, BoConcept, held a competition at its Abuja showroom to celebrate its 70 years in the furniture retail industry.

Managing Director and franchisee of BoConcept Sub-Saharan, Charlotte Obidairo, said the competition was run in conjunction with the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN), which offered mentorship, including marketing ideas and business strategies for success as a professional interior designer.

Three talented young designers won some of BoConcept’s iconic furniture and accessories.

BoConcept Regional Manager Grace Kalu said, “Young designers often face challenges breaking into the industry because they haven’t made a name for themselves yet and are still in the process of building their clientele.”

She explained that the event aims to create a platform where young interior designers can meet peers and also engage with experienced and successful interior designers who are ready to teach, mentor, encourage and open doors for them.

Commenting on the design trends and innovations that BoConcept is excited to offer customers for the rest of this year, Marketing Director Peju Emmanuel said, “We have just launched the new 2022 collection and we are extremely excited about it. . It contains a series of new furniture designs and features reflecting 2022 trends and the timeless aesthetic of Danish design.
